The team followed the model for improvement and guidance from East London Foundation Trust (ELFT) QI Microsite to structure the project.

The service works to provide them with a greater knowledge of their condition and improve coping techniques. A young person may self-harm to help them cope with negative feelings, to feel more in control or to punish themselves.
WebCAMHS offers assessment and support to children, young people and their families with moderate to severe emotional, behavioural and mental health difficulties. We assess, and where possible find ways of working with, the child or young person and those who look after them, in understanding and dealing with their problems in order to achieve change.
